Why I built The Parent Teacher
30 years teaching children.
One question I couldn't ignore.
Why is a bright child still struggling, even after tuition? After 30 years in education, I know how easily a bright child can become stuck when a small step has been missed. Parents are often asked to help with learning without ever being shown the teaching skills behind it.
I created The Parent Teacher to share that academic knowledge with families. Today, our growing specialist team adds insight into the wider factors that affect learning, while parent-teacher training remains at the heart of what we do.
